Operating audio for any event can be a hugely rewarding experience when everything is going well. It can be a challenge when all does not go as planned.
Alongside 64 Theatre Productions I have been fortunate to have mixed FOH for numerous other live events and in Houses of Worship. I've made hundreds of recordings for the University of Canterbury, choirs, orchestras, soloists, small groups of musicians and bands. Though skills continue to develop through practise and study I really feel strongly about the need to practically assist and train others in audio and have given numerous training sessions, written course material, co-ordinated and taught audio technology and acoustics at the School of Music, University of Canterbury and elsewhere.
